Personal data collected by this website, purposes, retention periods and your rights.

Our approach

This site collects as little personal data as possible. It has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no social media buttons that track your browsing.

It manages no customer accounts: you sign in to your account on the MySNDE platform (mysnde.mr), which has its own privacy policy.

Data we collect

The site only processes:

  • the information you enter in the contact form: name, email address, phone and customer reference (optional), subject category, subject and message;
  • technical server logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser), needed to keep the site secure and working.

Never enter a password, payment code or identity document in the form.

Why we use this data

  • to answer your request and follow it up;
  • to protect the site against abuse (bulk submissions, intrusion attempts);
  • to produce anonymous internal statistics on the number and type of requests.

Sending the form relies on your consent, given by ticking the box provided. Technical logs rely on SNDE’s legitimate interest in keeping its site secure.

How long we keep it

Period to be set by SNDE. Proposal: messages received through the form are kept for 12 months after the request is closed, and technical logs for 6 months at most.

Who receives it

Only the SNDE staff handling your request and, where applicable, the technical provider that delivers messages, bound by confidentiality. Your data is never sold or passed on to third parties.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form data is checked on the server, and the number of submissions is limited to prevent abuse. Only authorised people can read the messages.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing through the Contact page or calling 80 00 15 15.

Mauritanian Law No. 2017-020 on the protection of personal data may govern this processing. SNDE must verify this reference and the competent supervisory authority.
